The next version of the Crusher md2 model viewer adds a new feature not seen before: the ability to export to Unreal I file format! It will take a Quake 2 model file and convert it to the intermediate files used by Unreal to import the model into the game.
Below are screenshots of two popular Quake 2 plug-in player models (PPM): the Crack Whore and the Perilith Knight. I used Crusher to export the models, then imported them into Unreal and added them to the recently released qtest3 Unreal map.
Until Crusher is ready I uploaded q3ppm.zip (926 kb) which contains the modified map files. Unzip the .unr and .u files to the Unreal\System folder. Place the .utx file in the Unreal\Textures folder.
