My father was admitted to the hospital. He has a large blood clot in his leg. Pieces of the clot were breaking off and traveling to his lungs making it difficult for him to breathe. I spoke with my paterfamilias about an hour ago. He is better now and hopes to be able to go home in a few days. If you believe in prayer, I ask that you remember my father. Incidentally, he goes by the moniker “blitzpop” because, well, he’s my pop.
