Death and Taxes

I believe it was Benjamin Franklin that said nothing in the world is certain but death and taxes. Well, this month I have dealt with both.
Today I had my taxes done. I visited the local H&R Block. My tax preparer was a former coworker named Barb. I hadn’t seen her in over ten years! We caught up on goings-on in between asking tax stuff like “Did you house anybody from Hurricane Katrina?” and “Are you a member of a professional athletic team?” (Huh? When did that get on the tax form?)
I have a refund coming. Not bad news at all.
