Planned Upgrade of Blog Software

I downloaded the latest version of Movable Type tonight. Recompilation of web pages have been sped up significantly! So I am planning a site-wide upgrade to this version in the near future.

As a warning I plan to replace old-style permalinks (numbered entries like 000007.html) with new-style links (named entries like send_your_name.html). If you have bookmarked previous entries, they will be broken by the upgrade.
